First visit
At your first visit to our office, Dr. Steiman will perform a complimentary, comprehensive examination of your teeth and bite. Afterwards, there is a lengthy discussion outlining the various treatment options and recommendations. The entire process takes approximately 45 minutes and there is ample time for questions.
If the patient wants to “get the ball rolling”, then a digital scan of the teeth is taken along with some photos and x-rays. Dr. Steiman uses these records to finalize your ideal treatment plan. A start up appointment is booked at the end of your visit.

The treatment fee varies on the difficulty in creating your beautiful, healthy smile. Our office offers flexible, interest free payment plans without the need for a credit check. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Direct Debit, and cash forms of payment. If you have orthodontic insurance coverage, we will provide you with everything you need to submit to your insurance carrier.

Emergency care
Orthodontic care does not end when the office closes. Should an emergency situation arise after hours, Dr. Steiman can be reached at 416-505-5550. We also continually monitor any email sent to info@steimansmiles.ca. Our Hygienists are often available to deal with emergency situations as well. Emergency patients from Steiman Smiles Orthodontics are also supported by orthodontic offices in Pickering and Whitby. During the Christmas holidays, the Ontario Dental Association Emergency clinic, which is located in Toronto, is open daily.
