Dr. Howard Steiman
Dr. Howard Steiman graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Biochemistry. He continued his education at the University of Toronto earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 and his diploma in Orthodontics in 1991. Dr. Steiman wrote a clinical paper which was published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics in 1996 and co-wrote an Orthodontic Training Module Course for Dental Assistants in 2004. In 2005, Dr. Steiman received the Ontario Association of Orthodontists’ Distinguished Service Award. In 2012, Dr. Steiman was awarded a Fellowship in the American College of Dentists. Dr. Steiman received the Award of Merit from the Canadian Association of Orthodontics in 2017.
Dr. Steiman serves as a part-time clinical instructor in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Steiman also serves as a clinical speaker for Invisalign. He also attends scientific lectures to continually upgrade skills, techniques, and his knowledge in the field of Orthodontics.
Dr. Steiman is deeply invested in the advancement of orthodontics. He is an active member of the following organizations:
- Canadian Association of Orthodontists (Scientific Conference Chair 2012-Present, Past President 2010-2011, American Association of Orthodontists Liaison 2008-2010, Ontario Regional Director 2005-2008)
